Mia Herrera

Hello! I will be serving as your 2017-2018 Don Lugo FFA chapter reporter. Last year, I had the opportunity to participate in my first SAE projects, which involved goats and cattle. I was awarded the Star Greenhand for my involvement in the organization. I also had the privilage to attend my first state FFA leadership conference, as well as join the Vet Science judging team. I am also serving as the chairman of the Recruitment committee. In my spare time, I volunteer as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind and a volunteer at the Red Bucket Equine Rescue.

My goal for this year is to influence more members to become more involved in FFA, spread the word about the FFA organization, and assisting in expanding, cleaning, and maintaining the farm.
